Alright, So I like doing things in advance so even though I won't be getting my license for another 4 months, I need some help on deciding on a first car to purchase, I don't know much about cars so I would like any advice on a somewhat reliable, yet not very expensive car that you know of. about All I need is something to get me from point a to point b, but I will add on that I live in the forest in new hampshire, so there is atleast 8 inches of snow on the ground at any given time from mid-december until early april.

Kia Rio.

My best friend has one of those, and those motherfvckers last FOREVER. They are fairly cheap (under ten thousand, new), and usually require very little maintenance. And they are small, compact, and great for gas mileage. Smile

My last car was a 96 oldsmobile cutlass sierra, those run pretty well. I was just an idiot and didn't get it oil changed (long story) and it obviously crapped out on me.

My sister has the same car, and she NEVER takes care of it - and it lasted longer than mine did!

Well a friend of mine had an old Holden commadore and that thing was as tough as nails, suvived two crashes I'm sure would wright off any other car. Not good on gas mileage though.
