All of the member states in the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (except short lived states that merged with other states.). Yes this does have the Baltic nations. :3 No loadscreens included for RA2 users, sorry. Some flags IRL have bright shades of blue in them(Ukraine's blue is supposed to be much lighter.), but they dont here, sorry. Rolling Eyes

Hmm, good job Desu, these flags are quite nice.

China wasn't part of a Soviet Union.

Maybe they want to be apart of a new Soviet Union, or at least want to be in the gameworld. #Tongue

OMFG! Soviets were firing on China from rifles, mortars, tanks, bombers, artileries or even by laser (they say so, but it's like a response on never existed Aurora - the Tu-2000 which has been cancelled) for 20 years and it lasted pretty long till their case was ended by negotiations. Today's Russia is much more close to China than before, much more close than USSR (post-soviet Russia has been in deep paranoia, today remains suspicions of NATO and south neighbours). Also their fascism factor rised since cold war time, but socialist factor dropped six feet under...(so no real communists except pensionists and idealists)...
Russia and India are friends with China because they are part (India as observer) of the biggest economical-political union - Shanghai Cooperation, future Asian equivalent of the EU. Any of these countries (10 including observer members) isn't example of democracy either humanity, 2 of observer members are even one step from nuclear war and other from war with the USA or Israel...
Mongolia was more close to the USSR than any European socialistic country, but China not...

China has never had regime like other countries of the East Block, China has been out of this block, more out than Yugoslavia.
China has been never socialistic either democratic, but China has been totalitarian since ever. Today China and India are the most capitalistic countries in the world, conditions of their workers are de facto slavery, because this gets every big company... any trace of communism, just some traces of fascism - in China from fascistic chinese communism called maoism and in India religion (more fascistic than fundamental judaism). Russia is also strongly nationalistic (with practically any punishing of neonazi, more than in the USA), but they have slightly better social conditions than China + they have tried to improve it in last few months before economical crisis.

on the subject of china being part of the soviet union: as said before, China was never part of the Soviet Union. Chinese and Russian Communist philosophies are significantly different.

An arsehole clarkson may have been. But at least he was an honest arsehole who didn't pretend.

And Regulus' point about socialist philosophy is true. There was a sino-Russian divide. So much so they positioned forces on the borders IIRC.
