Something is wrong with NPSE.
Subject description: Not an IE but installing it...
I bought a new Computer and I borrowed a Ra2 and Yuri's Revenge CD from my classmate so that I can install it to my new computer. Now that I've done it, I downloaded NPSE and tried to install it but it says I need to install Yuri's Revenge 1.001 yet the version of my Yuri's Revenge is 1.001. Is this a bug or something? I mean illegal version of the game. Most stuff won't work with that. And yes, if the cops find you with it, you may get arrested, but the chance is really small they find out unless you do a lot of illegal stuff QUICK_EDIT

It wont install over a CD crack either. So if your not using the CD and dont use an ISO, it aint gonna install.
What's an ISO?

Please bear in mind that disc images created in ISO format do NOT retain the copy protection in them. Meaning you must use a cracked exe to play the game.

I'll ask the question that no one bothered to ask: were the CDs legitimate; were they bought from the store? Do they have the proper labels or were they blank CDs with magic marker scribbled all over them?

Not entirely true. You can clone to disc to make an HD copy, mount it with Daemon Tools or Alcohol 120% and play as normal. No cracked copies needed. QUICK_EDIT

I don't know if it was bought from the store. It has a Yuri's Revenge Cover in it. Only thing is the CD is colored white with a Yuri's Revenge written on it.

Tutorial - How to get Yuri's Revenge to work.
Step 1: Remember to breath in and out
Step 2: Repeat Step 1.
Step 3: Buy The First Decade.
Step 4: Repeat Step 1.
Step 5: Install The First Decade.
Step 6: Repeat Step 1.
Step 7: Press 'Finish'
Step 8: Repeat Step 1.
Step 9: Double-Click the icon for The First Decade on your desktop.
Step 10: Repeat Step 1.
Step 11: Press 'Red Alert 2 - Yuri's Revenge', make sure it works.
Step 12: Repeat Step 1.
You should now have Yuri's Revenge installed. Continue with Step 12. QUICK_EDIT

I will say this it simple to you.....
Buy the game or it wont work! If you cannot find an orginal copy of YR (or RA2 if you have a fake RA2) find and buy The First Decade which I'm sure it's around in your local game store..... _________________ QUICK_EDIT
normally i use the ISO for play the NOD missions and i need the two cds inserted and then i do this!
try to install alcohol and then you made a ISO of your CD in your computer, then you made virtual drivers, then put the ISO in your virtual driver and in a magic instant, there it is! Last edited by Shadow Hunter on Sun Feb 15, 2009 12:03 am; edited 1 time in total QUICK_EDIT
Edit: i'm not wanting to do any warez, but i'm trying to explain at least a ISO file that someones was saying that is a torrent file, anyway, i have TS original CD's and i maked a ISO for not lost the original CD's QUICK_EDIT

3)never, ever, visit PPM again, or the police will trace your IP the instant of page-loading
4)Most Important: delete these files.
