Arf. Why would a tournament map have a background story? #Tongue

Aro, are you feeling sick? That map isn't gloomy.

What have you done with the real Aro?!

Hey, one of your other maps already has that name! #Tongue

It looks like a fun tournament map, I like how there are no cliffs, which makes for uniqueness. The layout is open yet closed, it's also very simple. I think the lighting is a little too colourless though.

Thanks! Smile
I Disagree on the lighting, I think it looks simple, as it blends with the rest of the map, my opinion of course.

Not much point in going to town on a simple map.

Nice job, quickly finished, now do some epic maps #Tongue

I'll be making some of my Aro maps at some point, I made this one cause I was bored and DarkRose was bugging me to make a simple tournament map. Razz

Huh. Basic my ass, I mean for a tournament map. Attention to detail is always appreciated.

This map has almost inspired me to post a map of my own, although its not a TS map. Moon, its not even a C&C map... it probably wouldn't belong here.

Simplicity and style have come together into one beautiful map. It's my favourite, and I haven't seen any more than these shots.

It looks like TI has very few of "uninfested" maps like this one. But I like infested ones more than the simple ones. Very Happy

Just because they aren't infested mean that they have to be simple. Wink
So make a more complex layout map with this style but with even more grass and normal water used, got that Aro? maybe look at Lake Istelv for a peaceful non-mutation feel...or maybe Holixe River even. (but definitely not Desolated River! although I do think it would be awesome to make a few double map sets...as in One mutated version and a non-mutated version. probably easier to make non-mutated first and then mutate it. Razz )

Arf, try to connect some of the grass patches for bigger pools of grass Razz Would look better IMO.

Oh, and have you removed the alphalight from the light posts?

Paved shore and pavement cliff tiles are repetitive. Other than that, good work.

I Just added AlphaImage=none to the lightposts code in the maps.ini, a really simple way to put lights on and off dependant on the maps lighting (though can't be so easily done in Day and Night loop maps).

Yeah, it's cause there isn't a large variety. I Know that DarkRose is making new faces for the cliffs so they wont be so repetetive and I'll add some more variation to the concrete shore set, no problem, shouldn't be any more than a 20 second job in photoshop.

So you want me to make one of my Epic Aro Maps but with a healthy look to it?
Not a problem.

I would like to see a total city for a map, a dividing river, and a forest on the other side.
