anyone care to help?

so im new at this, and I desided to turn some of the unused units in yuris revenge on. now whenever I start playing a skirmish game to test it out I get an internal error. I was being an idiot and messed with things that I didn't know any thing about. anyone got a way I could get the origonal yuri's revenge INI files back? I know im a noob.

Post the except.txt in the directory.

Work out which starting unit has a weapon that doesn't exist or a weapon that doesn't have a warhead... did you even read the modenc entry? Also, if you are still getting it, you obviously haven't got back to the default .ini files.

If I were to uninstall YR, then re-install it would I get the original ini files back?

Just delete rulesmd.ini from your RA2 directory. Provided you haven't done anything stupid like add your modified version to the original mix files that will remove the changes. You should only ever had to reinstall RA2 for registry problems, anything else can be fixed.
