Well, hello everyone!

I'm trying to add new buildings to my Firestorm.

Unfortunately, I do not know how to do it.

What do I mean by that? Well, I know that you place the SHP files in the eccacheXX(55 for me).

Then, I have to place a code for it in the art and rules .ini

Problem is, I don't know how to make a code for it. (I usually copy and paste the code from somewhere)

But if the code was from RA2, I'm clueless... (I lost my RA2 but I'm getting it soon.)

Oh and can someone tell me what's the recommended size for me to shrink RA2 buildings to Firestorm size? Thank you very much.

Buildings I want to add:

Chronosphere (I don't have)
Psychic Dominator (I don't have)
Pre-release Allied Warfactory (I have)
Pre-release Soviet Battle Lab in Mental Omega (I don't have)
Chrono Containment Unit (I have)

Eh, can anyone provide me with the Chronosphere and Psychic Dominator SWF Files? I know I need to convert them to TS Format...

Of course someone could just direct me to a guide...

Anyways, Thank you for even bothering to read this thing because I ask too much questions...

Be thankful, be very thankful. By "SWF" I assume you mean "SHP" #Tongue
Rules and Art included. But beware, you must do some editing so it works in TS/FS (remove superweapon stuff, and the ra2/yr exclusive tags).

No, its quite impossible AFAIK. But he wants the files, so I give him the files.

There are a bunch of things that don't work in FS, Mindcontrol and Chrono-anything are two of those.


(On the other hand: Veins, Laser Fences, and Firestorm Walls work only in TS. Take that, RA2!)

Yes, SHP... Sorry, I was rushing out that post as my father was about to bring out the broom...

Anyway, Thank You very much!!!

EDIT: I removed the codes that I think are RA2/YR but it doesn't appear in-game. Do I have to add animations too?

umm... post all your code (since you changed it)

and of course remember to always add the animations to the animation list,
and the building to the buidling list.
(and change owner, prerequiste, etc)

Firstly, It's recommended that you DO NOT add things on to the Firestorm .ini files as the coding is messy.
Follow this tutorial before you start modding, it'll save you from getting a lot of headaches.

Well, here are somethings that I do...

I don't use Firestrm because I didn't know it existed... Which was when I placed majority of my mod units in.

I've placed the animations in it, but it doesn't show in-game...

Oh and the art and rules.ini is here...
