the specular and glossiness are extremely high for your textures, and you shrink wrapped a cylinder when it should have been textured as a cylinder... _________________ "Reality is a lovely place, but I wouldn't want to live there." -Adam Young QUICK_EDIT
As a small chip of somekind or a pump, looks ok,but as a building it does not.Wheres the building anyway, also, windows, doors? _________________ Lost Relic[mod] Lost Relic[game] QUICK_EDIT

I wonder how would it look in real life made from these things... _________________

Thanks, UV wrap fixed. But about the rest:
There is a control for specular, about which value you recommend? I want to be as close to cartoony ra2 style.
Using Blender, there is no script or anything for ra2 models.
So I had to try to set camera, light, and cartoony effect all manually xP

I played those games and they had a much different style.
Duh, I mean in that it looks like its made from things from around the house...
I never noticed it until now xD
Maybe my subconscious is trying to tell me something
But seriously, the cause may be because I have a set of basic models, I call "library" (with object such as pipes, satellite dishes, storage tanks, the foundation etc.), that I can use as a base to save time for a 3d model.

Okay, added those things, hope it looks more like a proper building this time ^^
More comments still appreciated: this is for public, and I want the public to have something useful.
Anyways, sorry I didn't inform of this: I think its purpose will be some civilian building that is ore or money related.
P.S. That stick is a flag pole, so it will have a flag eventually like the other civilian buildings. QUICK_EDIT
These comments are helpful in improving. If no more flaws pointed out, than I'd move on to making the shadows.
But, I don't have any idea of making snow or damage frames... Any advice from experience modelers on this?

I like it. But the red under the pole looks a bit cartoony.
Ok, do you mean the circular base of the pole (forgot to texture dark),
or the "roof" of that little building thing under it, with the 2 square extrusions?
And, if the latter, any idea to fix it? QUICK_EDIT
Bravo,my friend. Next time just think about the materials(try to make it more like concrete(real materials)),think about the inside layout(that would be perfect). Some people dont realize that all those details really make a great deal.
@Biohazard Okay, edited. Is the cartooniness gone?
@vefbl4 amazing, you make all the insides of a building too? o.o
Really, I usually can't be bothered to make anything that you can't see in SHP format, but what you mentioned is a whole new level of detail,
Actual building stuff...
MK III render is at the top of the page;
this one ss is a bit random, from the view inside ^^
(the change to make this view render well are not real changes)
A new view on life:
So, I'm planning MK III to be final, unless some more comments to help improve it ^^ QUICK_EDIT

No,no,no!I mean you should always remember that there are rooms etc
Just like here,i made that one year ago,or so.
I could just make a box, with windows, but I made it with all kinds of doors, balcons, like in real life.

*cough, cough*
This is more boxy, although real (and originally grey). _________________
