New version 1.08 released - this fixes the bug that the hack done by CCOptions (v1.07) actually inverted the result read from conquer.ini rather than really forcing the game to use the option.

This, of course, made it so that enabling the option both with CCOptions and in the INI meant it was DISabled again.

This is fixed in the current version, by changing the hack done to enable it. I've kept backwards compatibility though; v1.08 will still be able to recognise the old hack as the option being "enabled". When saving again it'll use the new hack though.

Overrun not working, Tiberium still grows/manifests. (Changed setting with your tool plus in Conquer.ini file. Value set to "1". Does it only disable Tiberium Trees from spawning tiberium? Because the tiberium that is already on the map still grows to full maturity and spreads.

dude, this tool is outdated. Stop using it. The option does work, if you ONLY enable it in conquer.ini.

On a related note, C&C95 v1.06b will be incompatible with this tool.

If you were to add code to skirmish...to allow the AI to not only build a base but to do everything else that normal missions do...where would you add it? And also let them build walls if possible.

Allow to save and load skirmish missions. Probably a dumb idea...only useful if you don't have time to finish and wanna come back later.

Skirmish=a bitch. All the base building in C&C1 is scripted, this makes skirmish incredibly difficult and wasteful to do...

You could script the multiplayer maps. They'd replace one of the campaigns, at least, and you play them in some order. It would be you fighting against whatever you've scripted.

The C&C1 AI can't build ANYTHING by itself. It's designed to rely 100% on scripts in the mission. I can't change that.

DoMiNaNt_HuNtEr: It'd be easier to just make a duplicate of the pseudo-skirmish mode I already got but make it load maps with a different name... like, the normals are SCM##EA.INI, then I could make it load the scripted ones from the SCM##EB.INI files. Of course, since I got no idea how to disable the actual LAN part, it'd immediately give co-op mode too #Tongue

The real problem there is that someone has to script a full mission AI in each of the multiplayer maps.

Updated the tool to work for German and French DOS C&C v1.20. This version will also be able to enable the missing remix music option in the english DOS version 1.22. The code to enable this option was actually missing from the exe, but is now enabled with a workaround.

Still, keep in mind this doesn't work for C&C95 v1.06b, since you can edit them all in conquer.ini there.
