PC Gameplay says Core i7 is good for rendering and so on but for games, the current processors were better.
I'm not sure what they were smoking when they wrote that article. i7 will perform quite well for gaming. I was going to upgrade to that but it's all quad cores and more expensive than I wanted.
Since you're getting a quad, you should go ahead and get the i7 architecture anyway. It may not feel like you gain much, but you will later on. QUICK_EDIT
I myself would go with a dual core just because right now there aren't many worthy(good) games that support quad core CPU's. By the time all games support it, there is going to be quads that are much more powerful and worth buying. _________________ Comcast: Yo dawg we herd yo were downloading, so we put fail in yo modem so yo cant download while yo failin! Get a second hard drive. Like a 36GB 10000RPM for the primary on Windows so it boots faster, then dump everything onto a pair of secondary drives unless you don't have room.
Trust me, a smaller primary drive will work best in the end. The bigger the drive, the more you can fill, the more Windows has to index and cache... yeah. QUICK_EDIT

Err... no. I'm not aware of what online stores from which you can purchase stuff in Belgium, but you'll want better quality than that. At that wattage range, only buy from Antec, Corsair, PC Power & Cooling, Enermax, OCZ, or Silverstone. _________________

And when SSD "discs" will be cheaper, it would be better to use them for the OS, but I have heard Windows, especially Vista likes to overwrite parts of the disc all the time...

But that isn't 7 euro more. It would cost a bit to much I think.
I would normally be happy with the N9800 but since it's only 7 euro, why not? QUICK_EDIT
Well if you can get a better one with just a little more money, why not? It's like saying you'll stick with a can of coke when you can buy a bottle of it with only 50 cents more _________________ Please, read the signature rules of the forum. QUICK_EDIT

What about changing my video card to the GTX 260? It's only 7 euro's more!
If it's the 55nm version (or at least the one with 216 SPs), then definitely. If it's the normal 65nm 192SP one, then you won't see much of a real-world performance difference between them. _________________
