Chaotic´s chaotic concepts
Subject description: See my latest post
It has been some time since I last did anything, but here are two models I have worked on for a "little Project" of mine
The first is a scout unit (this is v2.5)
the second one is a Main Battle Tank (This is also v2)
Here is an ingame of the MBT v.2
(How do I make it bigger without remaking it?)

don't use pure black on the wheels and tracks. use dark grey instead. you can also give each second voxel on the track a slightly brighter color to show the separate track links. Though this could be a bit too much detail on such a small voxel. Trial and error is best here.
The tank could be a tad higher as it looks quite flat and small ingame. But the design is really good and should be kept.
The scout has an interesting design too, though it's hard to differentiate the front and rear from the side view. maybe add something special to the rear like an antenna or fuel tank. Or work with the texture and shape. The editor preview looks already quite good, but it doesn't turns out that well ingame. _________________ SHP Artist of Twisted Insurrection: Nod buildings

Well, I am using all of these ones for my own mod
and I really want to have everything be original, and unique.
but I think that I can draw up some others just for everyone to play with.
I could probably have several drawn up by tomarrow
(I have why to much time on my hands)

The latest voxel looks pretty good. I'd either change some of the remap to non-remap, or detail the remap so that it isn't too overbearing.
Overall, I like that latest one best, and if I was allowed to I'd really like to try my hand at that concept. (I know, you won't let me, but I really like both the concept and its realization) QUICK_EDIT

I am glad people like my concepts, to bad I still have a ways to go with my voxeling skills.
anyways, If it is alright, I think I might take a moment and show off some more of my concepts.
this is the complete set (minus air units)
Scout
Light Tank
Main Battle Tank
Heavy Tank
Flame Tank
APC
MLRS
Artillery
Harvester
In fact, I am thinking that I will let everyone use these concepts.
just becuase, my idea is still in the pre-pre-alpha stage, and is still subject to major change (I have already changed it twice)
Though, I feel that I will be sticking to this on, becuase I have already done a lot of stuff for it (mostly just concepts)
well, anyways, here you go
and If you do use these, all I ask is credit for original designs

You have some good art skills, Though these concepts are good I recommend drawing them in isometric. after you get practice in doing that, you can do them in any angle possible.

Nope, all of these came straight from my head.
I had done the scout first, and liked how it looked, so I just tried to keep the same basic design throughout the rest.
to be honest, I have never played the Dune games.
though I should some time.

I never could draw in 3d when it came to stuff like this
Units and Structures I always draw from one side.
though, I always draw my terrain concepts in isometric
Its a little easyer to get it from paper to ingame that way.

they just appeared that way when the pencil hit the paper.
though I like how the came out.
Is there any other units you might want to see.
I have plenty of free time.

Well, I went and added some color to your model
It might need something more texture wise, but I think it came out just right.

to bad I already released all of these concept for everyone to use, This could have worked well in my mod after all.
