Subject description: WIP Update 02-03-2009: First ingame pic of body without turret

Here's the progress of the BaneBlade I'm working on. Body is about 40% finished, but I hope to get to finish the basic shape (without textures) today. Opinions and suggestions please Smile And should I make it a HUGE tank, just like the real BaneBlade?

EDIT: I need some help to remove those white dots, anyone?

WIP Update

Body is almost finished, I still have to add textures here and there. I know the double barrelled cannon on the front isn't authentic. But I'm going to keep it because I like it Smile

EDIT

Added ingame screenshot.

The black and white dots will be fixed when all the rest is done (although I'm not sure what those white dots are Confused )

I'm still breaking my head over the white dots. I can't make em dissappear... Confused Sad

If anybody wants to take a look at it to see what the problem is, I can send you the voxel. Just PM me. I can't continue untill the mysterious white dots prob is fixed.

looks nice, yeah my baneblades and everything else sucked, but meh, they're there #Tongue nice attempt, try to get some more detail in there. good luck on some more wh40k stuff, we need more of it tbh

As I wrote in PM, this can be caused by wrong normals or by wrong voxels (voxel dots) in inner layers (in the filling). Wink

Major Update Smile Body (without normals) is finished. Orac is working on the normals (thanks a lot mate!) so I could concentrate on the turret and barrel. The turret is about 80% finished, the barrel 60-70%.

added some more detail to the turret. The turret is finished now so all that's left to do is the barrel. (and the normals ofcourse)

Yeah, the black dots are a killer - I thought I'd got the normals right.... Might attempt to fix that.
