But not SHP units apparently. I tried having separate graphics for GDI and Nod light infantry using the mixes... Doesn't work...
Is there another way to have side specific graphics for certain units? I know many of the current large mods have different graphics for their GDI and Nod light infantry... how do they solve the problem of infantry from sold/destroyed buildings/vehicles? QUICK_EDIT

Simple... they don't.
RoO has E1, GE1, NE1, ENG, GENG and NENG.
E1, light infantry, is unbuildable and it comes from destroyed buildings and vehicles.
GE1, GDI trooper, has as a prerequisite the GDI barracks, so it can just be produced by GDI, normally.
NE1, Nod's fanatic, is the same case, just for Nod.
ENG, is the engineer that comes from destroyed/sold conyards, and it's also unbuildable; GENG and NENG are it's side specific counterparts.
As you see, all different units. And you can also produce the opposite side's engineer if you capture/build their barracks.
Anyways side specific mixes does work for cameos fine, just check the light infantry and the engineer, in normal TS. You just need to have the Cameo= tag set to a cameo shp, that has a different name to one in an ecache mix, since the, side specific mixes have a lower priority, so any content they had, gets replaced by the content of the same name inside any other mix.
