Adding your own house to RA2

This is what I'm trying to do. In the rules.ini section where it shows the houses.
[Americans]
UIName=Name:Americans
Name=America
Suffix=Allied
Prefix=G
Color=Gold
Multiplay=yes
Side=GDI
SmartAI=yes

Is it possible for me to add

[Crevians]
UIName=Name:Crevians
Name=Crevia
Suffix=Allied
Prefix=G
Color=Gold
Multiplay=yes
Side=GDI
SmartAI=yes

to the rules.ini as an add on?

though it may show in the menu, it does not work when you start the game assuming you wish this to work for skirmish. you need yuri's revenge with an exe hack to make it work for skirmish.

Everytime I ask question, who ever answers it always says I need YR to make it work Mad

Is RA2 like uneditable or something? But that cant be the case cause I've seen people do some wierd stuff with RA2 and make it playable online as well. What the heck is going on guys????

Naw, it's just that YR has so much more options available to modders, that few stick to mod stock ra2.
Also the EXE/dll hacks, like RP, NP, and Ares (dll) are also for only YR,
and they allow the new sides/countries you want, and a heap of more features as well.
