Hi all,

I'm having an issue I can't solve.

I tried adding a new tank. To be more precise, I downloaded IceDragon's wonderful Crucio.

I coded it in by copying Nod's artillery unit.

Now comes the catch: the unit works fine, until I deploy it. It won't show the image.

Additional info:
- Undeployed cameo and voxel showing.
- Deployed version works: it fires the right weapon, hit points are as expected. I assume rules.ini is correct.
- I tried putting the SHP's in expandxx.mix, ecachexx.mix, and directly in the TibSun directory.
- The Crucio has both a Nod and GDI shp, and both have the same problem.
- I changed the names of the shp's (to NACRC etc...). Same for the voxels that work.
- I typed capital letters everywhere because I know issues arise if I don't.
- I removed all code related to the barrel (issue for later, I don't know how to add a shp barrel).
- If I use the original Nod artilery image, it shows, without barrel, as expected.
- I added and commented out several rules in art.ini (Buildup, DemandLoadBuildup, ...), it doesn't seem to make a difference.

First of all IIRC means "If I Remember Correctly".

Secondly:
I think it's in the rules.ini

In rules.ini the deployed version must be added in the Building Type List.
Are you sure you added the DeploysInto=NACRC tag?

Thanks, Warfighter.

The deployed version is in the building types list, and the DeploysInto rule is correct. As mentioned before, it fires the correct weapon after deploying so it is using the code in rules.ini .

I'm not sure, however, if there are other things in rules.ini that can affect the image.

Here's the problem!

NA means the game seeks for a theater specific version (applies only for SHPs). NA for arctic and NT for temperat. But you only have an NA version, so it's not showing up on temperat maps. (test it on a snow map and it should work fine)

So choose a name which doesn't has any of the following prefixes: NA,NT,GA,GT,CA,CT
Then it should work on any map/theater.
