I'm trying to make an ore/tiberium to be placed in the sea and make a "Sea Miner" to harvest it.

Not going to work since Overlay can't go on water but good thinking.

I think Allies Revenge has something similar to that
or by the logic of Darkstorm, maybe convert the water tiles to some other terrain type such as rock and make certain units use it only #Tongue

yea, the only way to achieve this is to make a little island out in the water and have it harvest it from there. and with that it would have to be a hover miner im guessing. I think there is a MinerToFarDistance= tag somewhere "to keep the miner out at sea".

I need to know how did Dave made his units traversable in the water in his Duck Pond map. I don't know if he released it since I only saw it in YouTube.

Looks like I need a little research.

You need to edit unit 'SpeedType=' and 'MovementZone=' flags. You can also edit the Terrain Types so that they allow different kinds of units pass water.
