Resizing issues with XCC

hey I've been getting some darn error whenever I try to resize an shp. is there another version of the XCC Mixer that doesn't get this error?

Resize with XCC mixer did not know that how???

well, supposedly you can resize shps and other graphics types. simply right click on the shp(I haven't been able to get version 1.26 or whatever to resize shps yet) that you want to resize, scroll down that big thing that comes up and down near the bottom it will have Resize as an option. click that. then a window pops up asking what dimensions you want to resize the shp to

believe me, u gonna hate the way it resizes.. it really screws the quality... resizing with an image program is way better e.g PSP8 Smile

When Olaf posted a news about the new version of XCC that resized stuff, he posted an image resized on both PSP and XCC. XCC results were considerably better. Also, version 1.26 had problems with resizing... in 1.27 it's fixed.

I know, the frame by frame is taking me ages, yesterday I took the whole afternoon and I still didn't get done with one infantry

I can resize 3 infatry (all frames) in less than an hour probably

lol resized to what? if you look around there are already some packs withthe resized infatry

What about IrfanView? It can resize infinite num of pictures at once, I used it to resize ALL the TS pcx's (infantry+buildings+anims) in one go, it took me just a few minutes...

Irfanview is definitely a great program! Very Happy

And it's even freeware! Very Happy

It's got so many features... I wonder if he will ever add paint/draw features...

hmm, well now I'm getting a problem with the palette. whenever I convert it back to shp[ts] all the infantry images get wacked out. I used theproper palette but it just doesn't work and I've tried several times

... But as far as I know, the latest one is 1.27, although I still use 1.26

I know it says that on the XCC Utilities download page, but it isn't true. If you scroll down through the news page you will find the post about XCC Mixer 1.25 and that gives that same link as for version 1.22 on the Utilities download page.
