I actually remember seeing a video preview on it.. a long time ago. Like, before C&C3 was even a rumor. Haven't heard anything on it since then

FYI, the closest mod to renegade being in ZH you will see is Tiberian Dawn Redux, despite the name, it still very much like rene in ZH, more over, it has Pixel Shader 2.0

They may have had help from EA at E3, but that's it. And APB owns them by miles anyways.

You need a mix, real enough to be believable, unreal enough to be fun. In many cases the believability consists of "it's the future" or "IT's fun why the f*ck are you being so arsey about it?" which is all well and good in many cases =D
