giving up everything

do you think the mod is just anotheer n00bish thing or do you think it's still worth working on ? I got really depressive today, i'm not sure if what we are doing is going to appreciated in any manner, at all... so this is why i'm asking u to tell me if i should continue work on the mod or not ? Crying or Very sad

if u think that our conversion has a future... may come something good out of it,support me... gimme a reason... Crying or Very sad

I know thins thread is going to come like a bit of a shock to some of u...

i felt like that ages ago...just look at the 'finishing' thread...youll realize soon that it is worth the work!

Heres a step-by-step guide on what to do.

1)Post an opinion poll on whether people like your mod or not.
2)Ignore the results and carry on anyway.
3)Try and get a subdomain at somewhere like savagewar.
4)Start a media blitz.... sigs, graphics, links... make sure everyone knows about your mod.

Its what im going to go and do right now.

No offence but there is a mod allot like yours called black missile mod
http://blackmissile.game-mod.net/ its ok but it’s too messy.

As I recall from you mod there was just too much stuff going on. To much stuff that didn’t look right. If you want to make a mod then try to keep it neat. Don’t just add 50 new units in and not have it even or fair. Slow down a bit. Fix some of your vxls shps. Then you might be a little more into your mod.

But it all depends on you!

He's right. If a voxel doesnt go with the other units, no matter how much you love it, you have to get rid of it.

Dont give up, TheDarQ. But your mod will be much better if you add plans and objectives into it. If you need help, PPM will provide it, but dont give up... Look at RA2: Massive Destruction... they had a similar situation and they got over it adding the generals ideas, more ballance, original things and today that mod is much better than it was when they joined here...

thanx ppl... i will continue this conversion.. one thing i desperatley need, though, is a good 3 weeks vaccation.wich i'm gonna take and enjoy, clear my thoughts... have some fun and then come back ! and madhq... that mod u mentioned omething about... it can't be compared to what i've managed to do... i saw a few screenshots !... it waaay to messy ! much more messay than ours was... Confused

so excuse mut for saying it ! Very Happy

they've made a forum in xtremecnc, posted a bit... but wiped it later. Then, they created another forum that received a single topic so far...

I pinged warbyte recently with an email informing him the move of PPM, but... no reply so far...

xtremecnc was the main site (dunno if it still is, darq?) and the forums are redone because of trouble with the website. that was all.
if you mean forums like one here and one on xcnc and so on, i dunno bout them.

well,things are going rather slow because I'm much to busy with school... I have a VERY important exam at the start of June so I have to study for it ! My admission into college depends on that exam so that's why i haven't had any time to post updates and stuff like that... I bega recently to make voxels again and sometimes late at night I even attempt at making concepts... Confused

I can't wait to get out of the whole exam stress so i can mod again ! #Mad

Oh... so good luck on your exams. It's probably one of the easiest exams that you will do in your future... at least while study at a university... but don't worry, you will be prepared for it...
