The PPM forums skin/theme
Subject description: Should it be darker, or remain as it is? Vote.
I was thinking, I like darker themes myself, and they've also proven more energy-efficient for your monitor. Sometimes the bright white of PPM forums gets annoying.
So, what are your thoughts of it? Should we look for something closer to TiberiumWeb forums, or keep it this way? Oh, and I'd also like to hear reason(s) for why/why not? _________________ QUICK_EDIT

I prefer a lighter forum skin. It's less distracting since darker ones try too hard to look "cool" and they invariably suck using shitty dark ass colors for the text or the text color flat clashes horribly with the background.
As i do like the ppm skin as it is i would also like a darker skin, not tooo dark but just right. _________________

There could always be a small box in the bottom of the forum page that allows you to select from multiple (or just two) skins. I've seen this elsewhere, and it's good for people with differing taste for the skin. _________________ QUICK_EDIT

If you aren't going to click those or read through all of the topics, I'll shorten it; new skins need to be made from the ground up, and I'm re-stating that Banshee didn't want to make a new skin until he installed pHpBB3 (where the hell did he say that... I'll find it eventually). Since that's obviously too far off to matter, let's just forget about a new skin until either Banshee allows a new admin into the ranks, or finds enough time and patience to install pHpBB3 + get a new skin and actually tell us it's happening.
(If I'm out of line with these 2 posts, then I apologize, but I'm only saying what needs to be said, and due to the lack of administrative attention PPM gets in general, regardless of reason, it's getting difficult to keep it in a meaningful and respectful context; I strongly feel a new admin or 2 would be able to clear EVERYTHING up AND keep it looking great, but that's nothing close to being my decision.) _________________
