Can Ra2 units be converted to Ts size?

Well, the first question is, What units?

If you mean shps, then no. the UNITTEM pal is essentially the same, so all infantry would be OK. Buildings are 20% larger in RA2, so you have to scale them down if you're porting them. (Civilian buildings also need their rubble frames deleted if converted over, as TS supports 2 frames, not three.)

Vehicles are pretty much OK if you resize them.(I believe you have to multiply the bounds by .20 or something.) except for the helicopters with animated rotors. Those will not work in TS.

no thay dont TS support 3 damage frames for building with 2 you have to add this tag ExtraDamageStage=false and for buildings with 3 youll never see the 3rd as the logic dosnt work

I'd presume you'd need to change the normals on a lot of the voxels too.

Ok i have tested it and it works fine

But i would have to get the .Vxls downsized to TS

it whould be possiable just use hva bounds and for shp units "unit resize" check out the OS TOOLs that whould be a start assuming you know how to MOD

Maybe he just wants everything converted to TS size but still keep it in the RA2 engine.. well you can change the scales of all of the voxels in HVA editor byt you would get better results from just making new units to the new scale. Secondly all of the firing flames and effects will have to be relocated since they will still show in their original positions.

IIRC, someone said that the third damage state does work, but it's only shown for about 1 frame, when the building is destroyed.

You can have the third damage frames or even more if you want check out Artmd.ini or Art.ini and play around with damageframes=X or something like that Confused
