Sorry if I am opening a dead topic, but the has piqued my curiosity. What setting (theater) are you using for. I would like to look into this a bit. One thing I see maybe why you are not getting any responses is they don't know how to do this or the fact the size of TS pieces are smaller than RA pieces. I am going to try and convert some pieces to post up for the TEM theater

Sry for the double post but here is a screen shot of pieces I converted from TS. I hope this is what you were looking for.

What I did was:
1 extracted these pieces from the TS mix file
Used Mix editor
2 extracted the pieces that looked like them from RA2
Used Mix editor
3 opened both pieces & changed the pal of the TS piece to tem from TS
Used TEM Editor 1.05
4 Copied both pieces (complete) and pasted them as new in Photoshop CS3
5 Changed the size of TS piece to the same size as RA2 piece

6 Copied the newly size TS piece over the Original RA2 piece

7 Selected all, copied merged in PS CS3 and then copied piece over the original RA2 piece and saved it as TScliff##.tem

8 Opened the temperatmd.ini copied the code for the cliff (tileset 10) and added it to the bottom of the list and renamed it (tileset 90)

These are not finished pieces because it was a copy complete, they now have to be broken down and made into their own pieces. Since you brought this up I will prob do some more converting of TS pieces

I don't know why you'd want to do that though, resized TS things look ugly.

I know. Rolling Eyes But resizing them to RA2's scale makes them pixelated and ugly.

well, i didn't have to resize by much, had to raise the a bit. do those pieces look bad to you? to me they look fine, but i know the real test would be what Blade thinks. Whats your thoughts on them?

This is a post i have on a topic of morphing pieces, but in this pic you can see a cliff set up I did

http://www.ppmsite.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=24334 it is in the media hut section

I've never liked the TS terrain converted to YR cause no matter who does it, resized TS terrain to YR's scale will always look pixelated. The only way I could imagine it being useful to anyone would have the resized TS terrain used as placeholders.

With come carful tweaking to the tiles, you could get away with it staying sharp.

The best way to get a some what good look is to multiply the size of the tile to a size that can be divided into the size of the RA2 tile size.

1 change to million color. So it can fill in the color shades between the pixies as you resize.

2 Then resize to a size that you can divided into the size of the RA2 tile size. You may or may not need to adjust for sharpness or softness.

3 Resize down to the RA2 tile size and change the color pallet to your chose. You may have to very some things to get the best results.
