Cloakable
Subject description: Doesn't work?
Hello guys, I don't know if it is just a coding problem or something, but cloakable doesn't work in the way you would expect in my game, in Mental Omega however, it works fine.
I tested this with YR Countries, a tool by vk, allowing you to control the AI. First, I built cloaked units. Then, I switched over to the AI's side. I could still see the cloaked units. i could also target them, but my units didn't automatically fire on cloaked units. When I moved some of my units in range of the cloaked units, they began to fire at it, thus they weren't cloaked anymore, and then my units did automatically fire at them. Is this a bug caused by switching sides, via YR Countries? A coding error? On ModEnc it doesn't say anything.
Another strange thing, first, I added Cloakable=yes and CloakStop=true (or whatever comes after the =). My units didn't cloak. When I commented CloakStop out, they did cloak, if they weren't attacking.
And is there perhaps a way to shorten, if not remove the delay for cloaked units to attack. They need 2 seconds to uncloak, before they can attack, but in those 2 seconds they are sometimes already dead.
So, I've only put Cloakable=yes on some of my units, but I can still see and target them when I switch sides. Is this a YR Countries bug, or is my coding wrong? _________________ ☭☭☭☭☭☭☭☭☭☭

AI is all seeing. If you haven't noticed when playing TS: the AI always targets your Stealth Generator with their SW, no matter if they have been in your base or not QUICK_EDIT
CloakSpeed is a unit tag and CloakDelay can be found in the [General] section
As for the AI shooting at your cloaked units, have they built any units that have Sensors=yes? I don't use the VK AI tool, but whenever I put cloaked units near the enemy, they don't shoot at it unless a unit or building equipped with sensors is nearby to detect it

From my merories, those 2 tags don't work the way I want them to, but I could of course try again.
No, they didn't. I'm 100% sure because I've removed all sensors and spy detection from the game, and then added it only to a select few units, like basic infantry to make them a bit usefull.
