Subject description: My first SHP :D

Hi all! Now below is the very first SHP building I have made on my own, with help learning how to 3d model and then make it into a SHP. My first SHP Building happens to be a water tower Very Happy

Below is a small screen of it, which is possibly how it'll appear in game. I haven't gotten any in-games yet, but then again this is my first building.

No damage frames yet sadly <_<

Anywho, if you use it, give credit since I made it myself!

Good to see your getting the hang of 3D now, tis a good program isn't it #Tongue

Love to see what you come up with next.
Btw if you need anymore help on how to use the different modeling tools, just aask.

When I looked in-game, I saw a blue outline around the tower... I'll work to remove it as fast as I can.

I fixed the tower, now the blue outline is gone. I am aware of the tower itself being a off-center though... <_< Anyone want to tell me how to fix that?

Na, it's okay, I found out how to do it using the resize canvas thing on SHP builder lol. Uploading centered/fixed version now XD

Anti-aliasing? If you mean the blue around it, the current download shouldn't have it <_< If you mean the off-centerness though, that is also fixed with the current attachment...

No, anti-aliasing is when... this should explain it.

The bar on the right is not anti-aliased and the on the left is. The box in the top right is the actual size.


This is what caused the blue outline.

If your using blender, to make the anti-aliasing less visible set the "Sampling filter for anti-aliasing" to Box

if you use 3dsmax go into options and turn on "don't anti-aliase against background"

This way you can render with anti-aliasing, but without the blue border.

Also some more details would be nice
-a small ladder on the side going to the top
-a big round swivel valve on top with a hatch to get inside (for cleaning etc)
-some rust on the metal
-instead of the strange column thing in the centre, add a bend pipe to the side, or bend the centre thing so it looks more like a pipe

And finally a damageactiveanim of leaking water would be cool.
