PPM is back!
Welcome back, commander! So, have you missed this site? I really apoligise for any inconvenience our recent problems with the server might have caused, specially when they updated their softwares definitelly taking the site (not the forum) offline.
But fortunatelly, I managed to update the "software" as well and re-build the site from it. In the moment, I only need to add the other tutorials, but almost all the site will be like that when it's fully over.
The changes, well... a lot happened:
- We now have a dedicated section for CnC Editing Tools, which is a merge of RedUtils (from Nobody), Stucuk's programs (Voxel Section Editor SE, SHP View 1.0), Banshee's program JASC To CnC Palette Converter and the newest Banshee's and Stucuk's joint venture, the BS SHP Builder. Of course these tools are here to make modders life much easier. The Ini Checker is a tool that saves the great majority of the RA2/YR modders, because it easily find the errors in the ini files. The AI Editor makes editing ai.ini a lot easier and faster. Voxel Section Editor 2.0 SE certainly is the best voxel editor around and BS SHP Builder will inovate your current ways to make SHP files... In the end, you people will say bye bye to Paint Shop Pro . Maybe not all of you, of course . You can now download all tools in our left menu. I've also added some documents used for research, although the SHP (TS) Format is exclusive for registered users because it's in Research Center. It's heavly recommended to read the whole topic if you wanna get deep into the SHP (TS) format and also download the SHP Engine to make your programs in Delphi, although the current version of the SHP Engine has a bug that crashes the program when loading some of the YR units like Slave Miner (thanks for DJBreit for the tip).
- We are now only showing the spotlighted maps in the frontpage. We can assure you that you won't waste your time playing them. You will actually have a lot of fun, since they are really well done, specially The Long Run, elected the best map by many of us.
- Tutorials are now organized into sections and are loaded as sections in the site. But I have to add that I havent done all sections yet, only graphics in the moment.
- Contents, tutorials and all sections have updated contents. GMAX To SHP tutorial was updated as well and it includes the skipped process of selecting camera. Links of many tutorials were also updated. Many FD info and some other sections were updated as well, specially Final Dawn screenshots.
- The site loads faster now. I noticed that there were a lot of useless code on it and removed it as well.
- Search feature in the right menu. You can now search forum topics from the front page.
- Affiliate links updated and CnC links updated as well
- Added Battle Tech's site. Yes, they have a site, but it's not online 24hours/day, so we are not responsible for offline times of their site.
- Added a new tutorial by G10N89TS about a different way of making cameos using Paint and XCC (and not using PSP).
- And few more changes which I forgot in the moment (I took more than 12 hours to do everything).
That's all for now and I hope you enjoy it QUICK_EDIT

Some bugs fixed after released:
If you were unlucky enough, you could have accidentally seen:
- TS SHP Files Dimensions and SHP (TS) format links were inverted
- for some reason, the variable which stored the forum location wasnt working in the menu, so all links to forum were broken. Things of the new php installed in the server.
Fortunatelly, all these bugs mentioned are now fixed. QUICK_EDIT
Congrats, HOWEVER
i still have this problem that it's saying there are ZERO new posts since my last visit, which isn't true (for example Kravvitz' post above me is new) so i can't see anymore what is new! it pisses me off.. QUICK_EDIT
new posts since last visit work..... i have experienced when you refresh the main page, it makes your post count 0, my guess being it updates the last time you visited, thus chaning the list of "things since you last visited" _________________ Free Map Editor - Game Requirements - Stucuk.Net QUICK_EDIT

Stu is right. And I've renamed that to "new replied topics since last visit" to avoid further headache , because it shows the topics which received the new posts.
Also, SMIFF, cookie system is out of my control... and works fine here. Follow Seaman's suggestion to try to fix it and good luck. QUICK_EDIT
Just one small problem...
At the TS Projects section my mod is spelled TS #The fREaK, when it should be spelled TS #The fREaK!. Wonder if anyone is ever going to spell my nick right... _________________ QUICK_EDIT
