I copied some buildings from the UI_GFX folder in Dune 2000 as placeholder graphics into SHP Builder. When I run the game, the buildings don't show. I omitted the height and all the active anim info, along with the buildup. Is this the reason?

Ordos ConYard. Other entries are pretty much the same.

Code:

[O_CY]
Remapable=yes ;Not, but lets go with this.
Foundation=2x2 ;I think.
;Buildup=O_CYMK
DemandLoadBuildup=true
FreeBuildup=true
NewTheater=yes
CanHideThings=False ;I don't think so.
CanBeHidden=False

Can anyone help?

I don't know anything about Dune 2000, but you should add references to building graphics or at least references to that Ordos ConYard which you copied.

PS This is RA2 forums, not Dune 2000...

I think he's saying he copied stuff from Dune2000 and converted for use in RA2. Are your buildups and anims all .shps too? Did you add the entries into Rules.ini? and did you place them in an ecache.mix file? and also, NewTheater=yes should be either removed or =no. and why do you have your Buildup entry commented out?

Hmmm, probably. Smile I thought he's modding Dune 2000. Wink

If building graphics don't show up in-game, there's something wrong with ArtMD/Art .ini

If you don't have them in the sidebar, they aren't coded properly in Rules(/RulesMD).ini

No, they were showingf up on the sidebar. I changed NewTheater to no on yhe Atradies ConYard, but not on anything else, and none of the new buildings showed up. Then I noticed I put expsndmd98.mix instead expandmd98.mix. I renamed it and everything worked.

P.S. I commented out the buildup because I don't have a buildup.

P.P.S. Yes, I am editing YR. I'm just using Dune 2000 GFX as placeholder questions.
