Shadows are little too high the first time, and in the last one they're the wrong way altogether...

Also the angle is wrong, and what is with those dots on the edge?

im done with this one, its not going to look right no matter what i do(well i like it the way it is). Next will be a man-eating plant >Smile(this one will be in perspective)

BTW the shadows failed the first time, the new ones are way better. And the green dots on the edge are: The green dots on the edge.

Pretty much finished look-wise.

Background: This is one of the more stranger types of carnivorous plants found on Roaden.(Road-en #Tongue) Its roots detect pressure waves on the surface and then uses its vines to snatch its prey.Its digestive capability's are outstanding, being able to digest a rock beast.(Think of a rhino covered in rock skin) and then using the rock minerals to make its (for lack of a better word) skin tougher, is just Amazing.

i think he simply used the wrong green there (the green with color index 245 which is selfglowing)

somehow all these plants remind me of the SNES game "the Legend of Zelda". Not 3D and not 2D, something cartoonish in between.

@0warfighter0/Lko:the green dots are on all of the planets plants, its just to make it more alien feeling. Plus it makes them look cool XD.

@Lko:I'm using the ISOtem pallet. I'm just trying to make them not look bad, this is really the first time iv had to draw 3D-ish stuff.

When I first made this it was rigged and modeled it reatardley, now it's not done as retarded. Still reposing it.

Here's a wire frame.


PS. For some reason Firefox wont let me right click on web pages, but it will let me right click on the top with the tabs and stuff. If you know why please tell me how to fix it.
EDIT: I found the problem, it was a Yahoo toolbar(That I did not install) that kept me from getting the right click menu, It's gone now.

This is the highest Poly model I've made, reminds me of Dr.Manhattan from Watchmen.
