Ask away your questions here, and the staff will be happy to answer them.

Try to have here the questions, where an answer could be probably be given now.
Complex questions, suggestions, and feedback: what will need discussion and more opinions, should have their own thread.

Will you post nudes?

ok, serious questions.

1: Will the terrain be fixed to blend in more with buildings and visa versa? The art work is really spectacular but the buildings and terrain don't blend much.

2: Will there be any outside forces in the mod? Aliens, mutant creatures or something to throw in a monkey wrench in game play?

Heh, regarding that last point there could be mutants living in biospheres like Total Recall. Laughing

Did I?

It is probably that there will be a released build when the gameplay basics of at least one side are completed.

That is, when the basic units, structures, and few maps are at least done for one player with one side to play a game with at least some ai and enjoy it.

The reason for this is that it would be terrible to end up as one of those large mods, which have had so much effort put into them, and never get released (either the people are too busy fighting and nitpicking to ever release, the mod simply shuts down but does not give assets, or the assets get absorbed into another mod which will never release).

Yes. The most significant changes, from now on, however, will be in terrain.
As it stands the buildings are much more finished than the terrain, so it could waste time to put the finishing touches on the buildings to match the terrain, when the terrain is far from finished and will be subject to much more change.

If you could be more specific with "forces"...
Meaning sides, then not as of yet. I'd rather not introduce new sides until the main ones are finished.
But if you mean forces in a somewhat different way, there are those unexplainable runes' appearance, as well as some corruption and some evils committed on both sides not leaving out the possibility for minor factions coming into the fold (X side made some mistake angering Y group of people, so now engage in minor conflict Z).

Yes, I meant natural forces. Like how Tiberian Sun has mutants and crap on levels, will Dominance have any neutrals that can affect players? (And preferably more then the Tiberian Sun mutations could...)

Yes, the neutral environment can be played to great advantage in Dominance, and is deeply integrated with gameplay strategy.

The majority of natural events or forces will not have the ability to make or break games, by themselves though; far too often there are maps which feature large, 'cool' civilian armies, which tend to be more annoying than fun. They could be too difficult, getting more attention than the other real players, and they often attacked some players heavily and some not at all, unbalancing gameplay.

So in Dominance, events are usually either actively triggered by the player, being curious or knowing exactly what he is doing. Events that one players can not control are usually a more subtle than a massive "civilian" assault force.
