Ethereal Dawn

In a world where the land formation rise above a layer of toxic clouds, four nations struggle to survive.

Enomei Union
A nation divided into eleven states, each of which governs it's own territory and resources.
Resources Collected: Wood and Water
Special Technology Area: Seismic


Secundus Alliance
Long ago colonized by the ancestors of Enomei, this splintered nation fights it's oppressors for independence.
Resources Collected: Iron and Gas
Special Technology Area: Zephyr or Lambency



Ruserua Federation
Having direct access to the frozen water supplies of the south, has made Ruserua the most powerful nation on the planet.
Resources Collected: Iron and Water
Special Technology Area: Lightning



Galruh Coalition
The vast deserts of Galruh are only matched by it's vast quantities of natural gas deposits.
Resources Collected: Wood and Gas
Special Technology Area: Phlogiston



Mod Features

Resources
Wood - Gathered from Oak Trees
Iron - Gathered from iron deposits a the surface
Water - Collected from Water Treatment points at airship level
Gas - Collected after deploying a derrick onto a Gas Vent
Steam Power - Generated from a steam generator in base, when this is exceded by your steam points, all steam units will shut down.

Tech System
The tech system in A.S. uses RA3's secret protocol menu to control the tech levels.
The start at tech level 1, which gives you access to all the basic units and structures.
Tech 2 is available right away as it's a the top of the tech column, this will give you access to your factions' special technology.
Tech level 3 is the third upgrade in the column, this will give you access to more powerful units and structure upgrades.
The final tech level is at the bottom of the column and gives access to the most powerful units as well as the super weapons.

Sub-Structure Upgrades
A.S. makes use of the unused SubStructureUpgrade modules to give enhanced abilities to all structures (and some units).
All structures have at least one upgrade available, but only may have one applied, so you have to choose wisely.



Other Info

Recruiting
I'm currently recruiting a skinner and concept artist to aide in the making of this mod.
The skinner must know how the UVmap.
The concept artist's job is to create concept art of the units and structures of each faction making sure they have a simmer look and style.

Hosting
I'm currently looking to have this mod hosted on F.S., so if an admin would like to sort out the process of adding A.S. I would be much obliged.

The Ruserua Command Center (temp name) is the central structure of operations, able to relay orders from the chain of command.
The main function of this building is to allow the construction of standard structures.
An alternative function can be purchased from a small list to further enhance the building.

Factory Upgrade
With the factory upgrade, the command center is now able to create basic units without need of steam power.

This is a very good idea for a mod,I kinda miss the old RA2 factions style,I mean there was Korea with their Black Eagles,France with Grand Cannon,British with their snipers...not much of a difference,but a difference non the less Smile
And Lt Albrecht there most certainly is people interested in RA3 mods on this forum,that's for sure,otherwise they wouldn't be visiting it Wink

Well, it's a fantasy mod... Most fantasy games have more ethereal names than scifi games.

Scifi games are often more down to earth, with a military feel.
