well well...it's time for another thing of mine,this a barrack's,it's bad because it's 3x3.

please post a better Preview,and also i'd like to know what is the exit coord for this.

I hope U like it.

the word "V lab" is not supposed to be there.

now why post stuff from my mod?,because there are some people that maybe arent yet registered and are making some private mod,and if i didnt finish my mod,then maybe when a one of them finishes his,he'll just join,post the mod,end.

It doesn't fit the style of YR or TS but it has a nice design. However it is a little lacking on textures.

Well, they look very nice at the preview, but actual shp is a bit too sharp, maybe some blending or smoothing the edges would improve it.


Edited (PS): Damaged frames should look more damaged. x-D

Try to improve the damage frame with for example scorches and similar.

Horrible horrible style. Study the style of others. See what usually gets best criticism. Adapt to match or surpass their "quality" level.

I am setting out "missions" for you to better your modeling skills. To help you improve, I'm going to post pictures of models I'm making for your specific mission. Each will increase in difficulty, both texture mapping and model complexity, and I want you to match it. I don't want you to duplicate it. I want you to take the picture that i post, model something close to it, then IMPROVE on it. Make yours better than mine. Once you do that, and I and others believe you have achieved that mission, We'll move on. I'm going to push you to improve your skills.

Here's your first mission. Simple barracks. This took me 17 Minutes, 9 seconds (including render time). make your own model, similar (with same basic and distinct shape). I used: Standard Primitives, with only minor mesh editing, and basic texture maps.

that looks already really close to daTS version
however you have to improve the lighting to add shadows. Then this should give a much better feeling of depth and this way enhance the shape and details.

well i sure do have noticed something's that i n00b at,i just am in need of knowing how to do thing's in a much easier way,now dats you said you did
some mesh edit,i just want to know what is that different from poly edit,also the part's above the doors (the half cylinder's),how do i make them in an easier way than a half cylinder?,now of course my version is 1/10 from your's at texture's so i'll have to start over again.
my first attempt took me about 3 hour's 39 minutes and a little this and that,you just cant model while this friend of your's is asking what is this and what is that....

i couldnt do better,but atleast it was done in an exact 36 minute including rendering,i didnt even think about texturing you because it didnt need,sorry for the wooden base but i think it look's somewhat nicer,also i didnt use mesh edit,sorry to screw you up man. Sad
