I am trying to create a new bridge for the urban setting to replace the high wood bridge. In the photo you can see I have new bridge headers.

What I did was:

made a new header and damaged header, but when I go to place the new header it looks damaged.

I replaced the cross over pieces of the bridge. I copied my RA2mix where the wood bridge pieces are and made my own pieces. And placed it in the ra2.mix/urban.mix. But, when I go to use my bridge it shows numbers. I know why the numbers show up, but how do I get it to show my bridge pieces show up.

Is there a bridge tut that I missed? I haven't found one in a search

Did you update your Rules.ini ? Bridges deal with both Terrain and Overlay.
Try listing them here and see what happens.

[OverlayTypes]
xx=

list your bridges here also

; ******* Overlay Objects *******
; These are graphic objects that can have an effect on the game.

Both these are in the Rules.ini

Sorry, the post should have read I am trying to create a new bridge for the urban setting to which will replace the high wood bridge. The old wood bridge would no longer be used.

So, yeah I know you can't add new bridges, but I did create a new bridgehead using the wood bridge piece and changed it to the pieces you see in the pic. Next I opened the wood bridge pieces with the shp builder and changed them to my pieces. Then I put them back into the urban mix file that I put back into the RA2 mix file

What exactly is the problem? is it not working ingame or just not in FA2? If all you have done is replaced the original files there shouldn't be any problem.

The damage thing is normal BTW, the original wood bridges have this too, it should work fine ingame tho.
