When i was making a map on Final Alert 2 i was going to place a structure from my mod but it didn't appear. In-game it appears but in Final Alert 2 it doesnt so is there a way to fix this? Question Question

easy as pie!!,just add your FULL ecache files contents to either RA2.mix wich i do,or try adding them to that main mix in FA2s directory (or only the buildings,but adding them all to the mix is better,however voxels need to be put in a mix called LOCAL.mix in the game directory and then removed after finishing with FA2 because it crashes the game with missing voxels unless you extract the local.mix from your ra2.mix,too long huh!) (maybe AFAIK)

well, if you extract the mix files from inside the mix and place it back in you should have no problem. I have done it dozens of times and I still have no problems, but i guess unless you know how to do it and what not to tough then yer fine.

Seams a lot of pointless work copying & moving all of the game files just to play a mod. Releasing a mod publicly using edited core mixes would create all sorts of logistics problems to, not everyone has backups & nor should they need to just to play a mod.

FA2 reads ecache mixes fine but has problems with others it seams.
