This is just a crappy throw together, Just wanted to see if people liked them cause I'm gonna release these to the public after finished. They will have way better anim's. they will be up for download by tomorrow. I'm working on them right now.

the shape is too simple, consisting of standard primitives only.

the block on top will hide due to its size, most of the slightly more detailed part of the laser fence rings in the ingame perspective. Thus it reduces even more the amount of detail.

the balls on top and the rings make it look like a mini tesla coil, which doesn't fits to Nod imo

The model is good. But I think the pole is to bright.
And the laser have to little color shifting. I think it should go from light red to dark dark red. You could alawys make new palette(RP/NP) if there arent enough red colors
oh and this is ra2, right?

it's still a too simple model (just some bricks and cylinder put together)

no shadows

Animations on the laser section don't work ingame.

better, but you're still using simple standard primitives only.

go in polygon editing mode and create the shape by extruding polygons, adding faces and displace lines and vertices.
Remove/replace this way especially the ugly cylinder and torus you've put on the side of other primitives.

Simple said, put some more time than 5 minutes into this.
