C&C3 EAv1 Harvester Logic
Hi! I have some problems with recreating C&C3 EAv1 Tiberium Harvester logic.
How that must work:
1. Harvester move to Tiberium Field and begin harvesting.
2. When it finish, special flying "Tiberium Tank Carrier" arrive and grab tank with gathered tiberium
3. Harvester was back to harvesting.
4. Tiberium Tank Carrier fly to Tiberium Rift Processing Plant and unload gathered tanks to it
5. Loop.
If someone knows how do that, please help QUICK_EDIT
This might just be spam...but I just wanna say my opinion on why EA might have not used this system...
It's flawed in a way that the harv would get killed out in the field without support...
2 harvesters were too much...
It's over all pointless
oh, and you really can't find much help in C&C3 editing here at PPM, due to not many people here modding it, maybe you could ask this in another forum with active C&C3 modders, or contact modders here who know stuff about Sage/C&C3 _________________ Please, I DON'T read the signature rules of the forum. This seems to be quite a crazy idea.
I mean,it's C&C Generals "take resources from supply depot to get credits" idea, except that it takes resources from a mobile unit, the harvester, that need to fill the resources first?
Maybe if the code for C&C Generals is still there, and if the target can be some item carried by the harvester (but can an item be made to appear once the harvester is full? )
Or maybe if there's a way to have the same things as Yuri slaves harvester (I don't know the real english name) from C&C Redalert 2,except that you would be separating the slaves from their shovel or something like that (that's how it get crazy in my mind ).
I think you should try to do it the way you feel it,and if you get stuck on something more practical (some code part),maybe somebody will be able to help, but starting with nothing but ideas, there's not much that can be done. _________________ I made a faq.If you find an explainable way to do something, please contribute.
If you find a good FAQ somewhere, try getting either the author post it in the forum,or the authorization to copy it (you can't do it without authorization, check the rules). QUICK_EDIT
