Mission Maps Question

I plan to make this mod a mision mod, so do I create my maps as single player maps or Multiplayer maps, or dosent it matter? and then I would replace the original mission maps I'm assuming also?

Obviously you have to create Singleplayer maps to make a campaign... Modify the .CSF file and campaign .INI files accordingly(missionmd.ini) to your map names, it's reccomended you use the same filenames as those maps in Yuri's Revenge however (SOV01UMD.MAP, ALL01UMD.MAP etc.).

As an addendum to that, using the same filenames only works if the following are true:

The campaign uses the same side as the original.
The campaign is the same length or shorter.
