YR Veteran & Elite icons

Atari2600

Hey guys. Does anyone know where the Veteran & Elite chevron icons can be found the YR's mix files? I looked and I must not be looking in the right place, because nothing turned up.

I figured that I might try my hand at editing them for great justice.

Have any of yall tried that before? If so, what were the results like?

They are in the cameomd.mix along with all the other icons.

If you want the chevron by itself, just chop it out of an image.

No wait I think he means the the chevron that is display over the unit when it is promoted XD

They're part of pips.shp in the conquer.mix.

I think he meant the symbols on the units themselves, not the cameos.
Those are in conquer.mix, pips.shp/pips2.shp If I remember correctly.

Yes, I meant the single & tripple chevrons that go on the units themselves, not the cameos.

Which pallet works best for those? I have a really tough time with pallets...

They use palette.pal from ra2.mix -> cache.mix.
