This map has 1 mod and that is that you CAN'T destroy the walls so you have know how to build on this map. You get a few goodies.

Goodies: (Each Player)

1 Nuclear Plant
1 Spy Sat
Wall around Conyard Spawn (cant destroy)

On this map you have to know the build order (stated above) and you have to gather the gems (all map is gems)

I know you think you are contributing to the map archive but loads of people have made these maps before and are easy to make/download from games.

Most people here like "realistic" well designed, non symmeterical maps.

It's a test map... maybe.

But it's not symmetry that bores people. It's the lack of substance. This map is probably one LAT with a few cliffs. Hence why it's shitty. But a well designed symmetrical map is nothing to scoff at.

As hideous as these maps are, some of them are actually quite fun online. Me and my mates played maps like 'Water fort oil' for hours online.

The only maps like these I like are the infinite money, no build time maps. You know, where you make a swarm of 185 apocs to take out your friends' swarm of 95 prism tanks, lol.

But, seriously, take a look at some of the well made maps on this forum, and the ones provided for your viewing pleasure by FA2.

it makes my eyes bleed. But ya look around at other maps and refine your map making skills so you do not have something as bland. even if you wanted to keep this layout you could still give it more detail.

most people around here looking at mapping as this aestetic artform. However, you are clearly focused around gameplay. Which is good in it's own way. In the end, Gameplay>Visuals.

Anyways, I would do alot of modding to the tech tree, get rid of all the ore refineries, and just make an offmap oil derrick give boat loads of money. That way people can just build and not worry about building a billion miners whcih they no doubt do on this map.

No offense DaFool, but game play is important, and I just have to look at this map and description to see it has no game play value(No offense Lava). And, that whole idea you just gave him has been done a thousand times over, and sure it's fun to have a map or two like that, but he needs to look at some other maps, see the build space, see what areas make for good battles, how to place ore and gems, structures, etc., see the amount of ore that is good for X by X size map, and then how to spice up the visuals so that the map has an all around feel to it.

it's not impossible to have good gameplay and have the map look at least a little decent..

Necro, do you have some kind of vendetta against me? The kid wants a particular type of gameplay, which he has focused his map around. Thus gameplay is important. I never said it wasn't. He wants massive armies vs massive armies rolling against each other in the middle. What he did was fine, it may not be original but it is a learning process. You must walk before you run.

The kid has a goal and he met his goal. He accomplished what he set out to do, and he has fun playing this type of map. What is there that you can crtitize?

lol... No, I don't have a vendetta against you. This is just a really plain map, and IMO the bases are too close together, and if you put infinite money on the map, this could become a Apoc, Prism, and psychic laggy spam fest.

I said no offense, I just thought it a really bad idea to encourage such a modification on this map. Really, no offense.

I know LAVA and I have played this map online several times. It's a pretty nice slug fest map and can be quite fun, which was what it was meant to be, however lava does make a pretty damn mean comp stomp and and has pretty good scenery, but you dont want to add to much artwork to an online map anyway. Graphical maps are fine for single and lan games, but with the fluctuation in internet speeds and connections, highly graphical maps for online play are not good! for lag reasons..

Wow... I have about 20 of these maps from playing online and not knowing what map I am downloading. There is no need to put this map in the archive, I'm sure everyone who plays online has at least 10 very similar maps.
