I've been trying to get some new units ingame to play around with, mainly from here. I've coded them up properly in the Rules.INI and the Art.INI, but for some reason when I put the ecacheXX.mix ( XX being the number of course ) buildings begin to not have animations or image.

Mainly the ones I'm having issues with ( the only one's it seems... ) are the Defender Core and CABAL Core. I have even tried ripping the SHP from the MIX and putting it in my ecache to see if that would fix it, with no success.

How do I know this file is the issue? Well simply moving the file out of the directory and running my mod again makes them deploy and show up fine. Has anyone encountered this issue? and how do I go about solving it?

Thanks in advance.

You haven't named the ecache Ecache01.mix have you? That would override the Firestorm shp files / animations. Always name Expand or Ecache 02+, otherwise all I can do is checking the shp files for the Core Defender and etc are present, correctly named and no misspellings in the ini's :S.

Good luck.

(choose a diff number then 01. You may use 02 - 99, even 00 IIRC)

expand01.mix from the firestorm expansion has already an ecache01.mix included, which your file had replaced. Thus the game was missing several files.
