I'd say that's a rather good idea but it doesn't look that much like a shotgun. It either needs to look more like one or change the weapon description to be more like a semiautomatic rifle or something.
Model-wise, the only comment I can make is that most weapon models in TF2 are very rounded and there are no sharp angles. The butt of the weapon would probably fit in better being curved than angular. _________________

I didn't say it looked like an Auto-Shotgun, I more meant like an SMG replacement for the Shotty. Something like the Sniper SMG, only a bit different. Shooting hot bolts or something QUICK_EDIT

No, I thought it was actually meant to be a shotgun. I just reread the thread and realised otherwise. Besides, if the engineer had any new items I don't really think they should be new weapons, they should be more focused on buildings instead. _________________
