Starting my mod
Ok well I've started my mod figured I should start posting outside tumsun now that I have my story written up. Ok heres story and a few unit descriptions will come on later when Tumsun is back up since I'm to lazt to retype the 5 or so units I have done, and I'll get the four screens of the models I'm working on for the units so far.
Story
In the year 2020 a master robotisis created a community of highly inteligent robots. After on night the robots murdered their creators work staff due to the staff being very mean to their creator. For a while after this the creator became feared as anyone who crossed him ended up murdered. But eventually the robots out grew this attachment to their creator, and killed him too. After a month the robots had completely reconstructed the city, to be the first base of the robot army.
Slowly after many military strikes against the city, the robot army used the technology from the weapons used against them to create new better weapons for them selves. Eventually after many monthes of battle the robots had transformed one eighth of the world into one large technological megopolis. It was now that the robots stopped on reaching outwards from this point and moved into a defensive mode, while they constructed large missles to be used to deliver small armies of low level robots, and a large construction bot. These missles will be fired at strategic points around the world to allow them access to more resources.
At this time though the world has identified this threat, and seeing that one army is not enough, they have joined togther in one full coalition which is the only resistance that the robots face. This colalition is weaker in a general sense due to the fact the use humans still, and humans are frail compared to the robots. The humans do have one advantage, and this is that they have access to various emp weapons, and are able to access small emp weapons very early on.

Just remember none of these are the finished product, and will go through many morehours of work, before the first version is even converted to a voxel. _________________

Good stuff . It's another 'terminator' type of story ... except that they dont come back in time . But the story is cool... really.. good luck and I hope to see it released one day... QUICK_EDIT
Thanks, I hope it will get released someday also. Dunno I'll be working alot on the art during my exam week which is comming up, so hopefully then I can get some more screens of better versions of these bots. _________________

I just read the storyline and I already have an idea, the robot side's buldings look like "infested" human buildings (futureistic but not made for humans to enter, and largely matalic). _________________ evil is good QUICK_EDIT
Yes that was the idea, I was thinking of modelling some office towers and just add to them. Also thinking about it right now I do need someone that is able to edit voxels, in the voxel editors, and someone to make hva's and work with turret placements. _________________

Just got a thought, what if you could make a building become transformed to be more inhuman, by an upgrade that covers the whole bulding (could be used for a powerplant or defence)? _________________ evil is good QUICK_EDIT
Nice tank, and I have another idea if the last one works, if you caprure an enemy building you could transform it the same way(mabye reduceing the required power?), if you have that bulding and your command center to be sure you don't get the greyed out cameos. _________________ evil is good QUICK_EDIT
Ya this could be interesting, just need to research it a bit. Also I was wondering if anyone had an idea on the MCR I'll post description below, it seems to be giving me some serious problems on the design side of it.
MCR: Large hover unit, lightly armed to protect itself while in early stages of base development. This will Deploy into the construction yard/factory(Since the robots are mainly deployers for low level buildings) _________________

Ok Well thought I'd update you all on my progress.
I've done a few more unit designs. and E.I.G. has helped alot in working out the human side of the mod. I have also designed the MCR, and have now started it's actual build up, it's about 50% complete and like all my other units for this mod, I have them posted in my forum at Savagewar. _________________
