Does anyone have a unitem.pal with pink shades for remap spots, so they wont get mixed with non-remap reds that I could use? it's a real pain in the ass when converting models to shp. Confused

There's also something else I could use some advice about 3d animation. I made a turret recently, and using "autokey" I rotated the turret 360 degrees, well the animation seems to slow down at the beginning and end of the animation.

can someone please explain the right way to do this.

you can create easyly a new palette with OS Palette Editor

concerning the rotation:
I assume you use 3dsmax.
This has by default a curve tangent set for new animation keys. You can find the small button on the bottom menu bar right in between of the "Set Key" button and the "Key Filters" button. Press the curve button and change this to the second setting from top (the small point with a line going straight diagonal down to the right)

However this will not change the already set animation keys. To make them use the linear movement tangent, click on the left of the key frame bar the small button with the 2 arrows between two boxes that is labeled "Open Mini Curve Editor" when you hover the mouse over it.
Then in the bigger curve editor menu, first select the animation keys and then click on the button with the point and the straight diagonal line that is labeled "Set Tangents to Linear"

Thank you much, that did it. #Tongue

Do you have any suggestions for when I render this, concerning shadows? because they turn into a mess when I import the pngs to shp builder sometimes.

turn off all light sources except the shadow casting one. Then give this one under Intensity/Color/Attenuation a low Multiplier of 0,1 and under Shadow Parameters the purple color 255,0,255 and a Density of 1000. Also turn off antialiasing for the shadow frames.
Then make sure the plane under the object has a black material that allows shadows to be cast on it (give it a specular level of only 1). The shadow casting object itself should get a pure black material without shadow casting allowed (specular level 0)

You can also take a look on tibweb: how to create SHP units with 3dsmax.
There i've also added some example max files.
