Does anyone know any tricks to destroy airborne things during a lightning storm? I have tried setting Damage=10000 to the cloud animations, then have tried and tried again for one of my harriers to get destroyed in it, for the damage is only on one single point. It worked though, twice... One second it was full health and the next it just crashed to the ground.

Any other ways?

Maybe give the lightning bolt an invisible AA shrapnel weapon..?

AA shrapnels don't work what i've tried and neither does airburst. EMP has no effect on air in np afaik.

I have no experience with this, but here was a thought I had.....


Correct me if I am wrong, but the projectile controls the AA attacks? What if you took the weapon and project and gave them the tag AA=yes. I looked for them but couldn't find it.

I don't think lightningstormspecial has a projectile at all... so the shrapnel idea wouldn't have worked anyways.

GENERIC warhead used by animation damage is specificed here in RulesMD.ini:

FlameDamage2=Fire2

Changing this may help.

Note: Warhead= in animation sections(ArtMD.ini) does not work.

Warhead= only works in artmd.ini if Debris/Meteor animation

Otherwise [Damage] uses Fire2 by default
