Someone help, TS online
Aright, so I downloaded TS onto my laptop. (Tore's free fixed version). I don't know, I'm getting all mixed up...
That's not the point. My problem is, whenever I connect to the XWIS server, nothing happens. I'm in the lobby, all by myself. On the left, it has several lines that say something like "failed to connect," etc.. Although, I'm still in the lobby by myself. After about a minute or so, a message pops up. "You have been disconnected from the server."
What am I doing wrong? I'd like to be able to just go online and play with a friend of mine. I'd rather not have to sit in a lobby by myself, and get kicked every minute or so... _________________ Okay, my signature was starting to annoy even me. QUICK_EDIT
all you should have to do is type a name and password. Most of the time you'll end up in that lonesome lobby from a bad name/password combo. Most likely someone already has the screen name your trying to use. Try different names. But keep in mind that if your game "tore's free version" is different from everyone elses you wont be able to join or host unles everyone else has the same version you want to play with _________________

Hmm. I didn't know I would have to sign up with them. I'll do that.
Cranium; it's what EA released, but was edited a few days ago I think... Tore was the one who posted it, and I saw somewhere that he was the one who made it... However, I also saw that it came from two other fan sites. IDK. I'm having a major blonde moment. My friend downloaded the same one, so I wanted to play with him. As said... you dont have to sign up with xwis. I never did and my TS works just fine online. _________________

By entering a nickname that hasn't already been used, you are automatically "signed up." So that's not the problem... _________________ Okay, my signature was starting to annoy even me. QUICK_EDIT
just keep trying different names and password until you come across one that works. _________________

ah, so you already have a registered nick then? Was that nick registered under a serial number? you'll probably have to choose a different name if thats the case. _________________
