I think that I have given the game a meltdown...
Well, every time I load my mod onto YR, the game will maybe have a 50 percent chance of running smoothly, but when I restart the game, YR will freeze at the loading part after you have clicked "start game".
The only possiblility to end the game is to log off... even end processes would not work. After I log off, and log in again, and tries to start the game again, it would freeze even before it shows the EA and Westwood logos, and this time if you try to log off again, it will FREEZE AT LOG OFF!!!
So then I'll have to perform a forced shutdown: Hold the power button for 10 seconds...
I don't want to restart every time I want to start the game a second time, all the files in my mod are Rulesmd.ini, Artmd.ini, Soundmd.ini, and 4 SHP files...
I find it hard to believe that it's "just" your mod dong all that. Does the game run fine without any mods & are you having any other problems with your computer? _________________
I had a similar problem like that myself, I believe NP was causing it. I dont know about your start up situation, that sounds like it may be a scratched disk, but the shut down part was happening when I used NP. _________________

The disk and the original game and Windows are all fine... when I play the game with, let's say, normal YR, UMP, NPatch, RockPatch, Launch Base, and all of the other mods, it is fine... but... somehow ONLY my mod causes this problem... QUICK_EDIT

start over. copy paste the important stuff and move on.
Dump your mod into some dark place you don't use, and start a new one. If you have the same problems, then we compare the two, and get somewhere. _________________ "Don't beg for things; Do it yourself or you'll never get anything." QUICK_EDIT
