Where are the RA1 maps?

So hey, i was taking an look thoses days on the RA1 and i would like to see they maps, but i can't find where they are, probaly in the CD, but i still haven't found it, soo if someone help me saying where, i would apreciate. Very Happy

Oh and BTW, there an map editor for RA1? The one that comes with the game suckys. Sad

Red Alert 1 directory, go into the Main.mix and then the General.mix with XCC mixer. As for another map editor, there is one somewhere, but I do not know where.

As for the mixes, for TFD it's where I said... But with the CDs, try the CD mixes.

Ok, but in that folder (no using TFD)in the cd, i got into main and generals.mix, and could find nothing...unles that the .ini files (EX: scm01ea.ini) is an map. :/

they are the map. In CnC1 and RA1, the maps use INI files to detail what is in a map from what I have been able to see.
