Scrin Ship in C&C95

You guys remember that white and red thingy from the third GDI mission with the SAM sites and air strikes? well, from my mysterious sources (a google search leading to CNCZ forums leading to some other website i'm too lazy to remember) it turns out its a crashed scrin ship and that the storyline continued out by EA was planned by westwood all along. i remember seeing nyerguds name over in CNCZ on this topic, so he might shed some light on teh topic.

I played through renegade I didn't see a flying saucer. Then again I didn't pay attention to anything but killing and mayhem.

Correct, it's the front canopy of an ORCA. Why it's white remains unknown.

The crashed A10 bomber is also white (although I don't think this made it to the final release of TD but you can see it on one of the TD Beta shots)

The crashed A10 bomber is also white (although I don't think this made it to the final release of TD but you can see it on one of the TD Beta shots)

They only said it was a "helicopter canopy". There was no talk about Orcas or Nod specifically. These details you guys keep bringing up is only assumptions and speculation.

yeah, they indeed said "helicopter canopy". Though they also said that the artist who made it was the only one that actually somehow recognised it as that #Tongue

But in the credits it says Thanks to Sean Brennan for the spaceship. i saw a .gif that cleared the thing up for me but still the Space Ship question remains.... WHERE IS IT!

Chris/Stygs' gif anim pretty much shows how the shape is almost exact same as the ORCAs canopy.

I took it for a Nod helicopter due too the color scheme, mostly. After all, the Nod back then was white by default.

one another note. I am curious if anyone has the concept art of said scrin ship or something, it looked like it rolled into it self and expanded almost like a tripod?

I recall maybe LKO or someone posted an image on one of the many scrin ship threads here. I can't seem to find it.

He was very amused by all the theories as to just exactly what it really was, but it isn't a UFO or a Scrin ship. It's a helicopter canopy. It was there since C&C (DOS).
