Do you think the road piece with the arrow is too wide and should be a little bit more narrow? I'm thinking it should be, doesn't seem to fit. Never mind the excess pieces, its just a test piece I threw together to make sure the 2 roads fit together right.

You don't think it looks to wide?

I am trying to finish up a few pieces to put up a video. I will show 4 maps, maybe 5, in FA2 to showcase:

2 lane highway (reg and cobble):
new looks 2 lane
new bends for normal looks and the new angles (my pieces not original)
new angled roads
my new intersections

4 lane highway (reg and cobble):
new looks 4 lane
new bends for normal looks and the new angles (my pieces not original)
new angled roads

new 4 lane with median
new 4 lane w/median bends
few water cliff pieces I found my maps needed
my new on and off ramps
few new urban features
new pavefixes
maybe new grass and dirt pieces and shore lines

Just in case anyone is interested for the reason of the new look 2/4 lane look. It is because I made the pieces in 3d max and the color isn't the same as in game and because of the curbs wouldn't line up. The only issue will be the roads that lead up to bridges. I can recolor the pieces but as Cranium mentioned and I believe a post MigEater has said, they couldn't be destroyable because they wold be hanging in mid air if they were.

The size is ok but the road in general looks a bit bland IMO :/

One of the lanes looks bigger than the other.

The road piece the arrow points at could be narrowed by a few pixel rows. Because of the isometric angle, a horizontal (East-West) road is supposed to look narrower than a vertical (N-S) or oblique (e.g. NE-SW) one.

Yeah, i know about the lines, I haven't worked on those yet. I was looking at the piece and thought it shouldn't be as wide as I have it. I just wanted another opinion if someone else thought it should be a bit thinner too. And you confirmed it.

I think your comment is because its too black looking. I like the fact its a darker, but seeing your work I value your comments. I'll copy the black to a new piece and try to dodge it a bit see if I can lighten it a bit and repost the pic.

Yeah, a little narrower would be better, just by a few pixels.
