One big cliff front

Has anyone ever tried making one big continuous mountain with cliffs? I think I may have found a way to do this. This here is a cliff with height 8 stacked 2 high to make it height 16 "its as high as it would allow me to go", I only made this one cliff for testing, but properly made it could result in looking like just one huge cliff front, what do you think of this? Good Idea?

could be the start of something great. Looks funky now but you can always make special peices i guess to make it work if you needed to.

how high is the cliff? My little helipad idea I was trying a five high cliff piece but it didnt work

I tried to make 8 high cliffs before & couldn't get them to work, the extra image worked fine but the main tile wouldn't go higher then 4 ingame. I had to make two 4 high cliffs & put them on top of each other for it to work.

PS: IIRC 18 is the highest the game can go.
