I havent done any rigging for a while so excuse my bad termonology

but you have rigged his left leg ok but the radius of some of the 'rigging points'? is far too big and picking up some of the vertices in the right leg

If you scale down the rig radius to just encapsulate the left leg it should stop the clipping like this

I'm interested to see this rendered as an SHP. Right now, I am using low poly models with skins over them for my infantry because I don't feel that the extra detail will help.

this is straight out of shp builder, I only did one facing. No need in doing them all until I finish the positions, walk, run crawl, etc. But this give you the idea of what it looks like as shp.

I uploaded the wrong gif, corrected now, and this is RA2 scale and perspective, though I did make mine slightly larger than normal RA2 infantry.

This is good stuff. While I can find several flaws in all of your models, I admire the work you put into it. I've been in pre-planning stage for years now. ^^

Gotta say though, I can see zero GDI/Nod in any of those. #Tongue

Well this is a totally new GDI faction, The GDI Revenge Force. That was my plan to go outside of the original GDI look. I'm tired of the same ol look. The Venom faction has it's own look as well.

The arches of the bridge look too plain and undetailed to when you compare them to the bridges.

EDIT: I see they're a work in progress, so you still have time to do more to them. I'd also avoid resizing pics and crop out unneeded details if you're worried about the size.

that was just pretty much a test run to check placements and stuff. there will be higher quality structures, support wires and other colums as well when done

Yea, my printscreen option saves pics at 1400x1050, and while resizing them does take away quality of pic, I hate having to scroll over to look at whole pic Very Happy

well like I said those were just test runs, pretty much goona end up something like these (pic). I still have the other bridge colums I made that are on a previous page, but I think I am scrapping those. I'm planning on having 2 sets though. I'm also changing the high wood bridges that will couralate with the other set. So there will be 2 differnent types of bridges with different support structures. Alot of work is required for these as its gonna take like 12 seperate structures to make them work.

While the actual bridge itself will be destructable these will not be, It will take way to much amount of time to go in that direction.

Well the main problem is, if they are made destroyable, there's no way to reapair them, so when destroyed they're gone for good. So by making them undestroyable but have the bridge itself destroyable makes it work out just fine. Sometimes ya gotta give a little to get a little Razz

You can fix the layering problems with the back tower by editing the ZAdjust= in it's art section, -50 should work or try a higher number.

The flamebuggy looks good too, the storage barrels look a bit low tech compered to the rest of it IMO tho, makes me think of a GDI IFV with GLA toxin barrels stuck on the side XD Maybe make them oval shaped or add a frame round them so they look more permanent etc

check your lightsource. It clearly creates a spotlight, thus big models don't have an even distributed lighting (e.g. the highest point is dark and out of the light).

TBH it looks a bit odd tho, it's a Zsu-57 without the main armament & then a secondary turret on top with small looking machine guns (in comparison to the to the rest of the unit etc).

Personally I'd design a new turret & use a pair of big M61 Vulcans instead.

I agree on a different style turret, but dont you think anything bigger than dual M50's would be a bit extreme for taking out infantry? This vehicle is only going to be affective against Infantry and Wood. M50's are pretty big guns, one shot would most likely blow a hole in your chest the size of a softball if not bigger Razz

They are big guns but on that unit they look small, ingame they'd probably only be 1 pixel wide sticks etc.

I hope you guys like this water and shore, dont mind the F-up's I only have 13 outta 50 shore pieces done. <--"Time Consuming" Thats why I need to know now if ya like, cause when they are done they are done, will take way to long to redo, So hope ya like.

Dont mind the Bridge towers either, they are being redone and added in as TerrainObjects instead of buildings, that way I wont have to worry about a HealthBar appearing.

The shore looks good, really good.
I'm not so sure about the bridge supports, they look oddly primitive - rather than something like this. The shapes you use don't look like pieces of a carefully engineered superstructure...
