I have started a new mod, Omicron Revenge.
(I will upload screenshots soon)
We are going to build a website. But before we do I have to know sure that the future is good, that's why I have come here. This is a global request for people who want to work with me, everything will be arranged. I think that the mod can be a succes, my ideas are very good (you don't know them all, most of the work is on paper). I am very ambitious about this mod. It will be Ares built. The first release will be NPatch SE (first and final)
I also know that Cranium asked for a possible partnership, I do the same but, I do this because I got a call from a friend a few days ago telling me he has a good offer for a webdomain. We are also planning to let people join at the domain.
The specifications of the arrangement:
- Own domain name
- Unlimited number of email adresses
- Virus control at mail
- Spamfilter
- Webmail?
- 1GB memory + 1GB each year
- Unlimited datatraffic
- and many more, which visitors don't know the existing of.
We are prepared to aid other community sites when they are in financial trouble.
Now, this sounds all pretty large, it's possible. It is my job to handle websites and my mates do it too. If anyone is interested in a partnership, be welcome!

I'm confused as to what this is about? Are you looking for hosing, are you offering it or are you just posting the specs of your new site? _________________
Yeah, could probably have spent little more to time to put up a cohesive post. Currently people will just have hard time trying to understand what you really want to say.

There is no such thing as truly unlimited bandwidth, despite what the companies offering webhosting might say. Theoretically one could always pay more to increase their allowed data traffic, but even still, there will be a limit. QUICK_EDIT
Well, it's a bit of all. If you invest in something you want to know sure that it's future is solid. What I am trying to tell you is that I have a mod, but it can be a lot better, so I am looking for someone who wants to work together with me on this. And that I already have the new site. Understand? About the specs, no I am not just telling it. That's just what he has found. And the first lines tell you that I already have a release ready, one for NPatch SE, and the future ones for Ares.
I will release it soon. After that I am going to do a sh*tload of maps.
Lets forget about the website, and community sites.

The charge for the SW is much longer now, I am thinking about the earlier Puppet Master logic, about temporarily mind control units.

You mentioned Cranium in your first post & I think that's a good point, he asked for help & got a good response. The reason being that he is a well founded member of the community who has has been regularly posting work on his mod here for several months.
That video however is the first I've seen of your mod & it wasn't very impressive TBH. If you want more support then you first have to show what you can do & I mean show with actual work & not just post "ideas". Anyone can talk about their ideas but what people really respect is the hard work & effort needed to implement them.
So I'd recommend starting your own topic in the meta hut (you got off to a bad start here so just kill this topic!) & fill it with all the screenshots & artwork you have for your mod. Show people what you can do & what sort of things you want to do.
Again I don't mean to be rude, I could have just posted n00b etc & walked away, instead I'm trying to give you some advice to get you started towards a hopefully great mod. _________________

A super weapon with a long recharge time can be frustrating.
If you really want a website. I have a friend that offers web hosting, but the only problem is that there are so many sites its not funny. Some are cool, some are lame. People don't take the time to learn the art of scripting or they have lame layouts or their sites are a total mess. My suggestions are PPM or Revora. There a couple others, but these are 2 I visit on a regular basis.
BTW: Still working on an AI file for you had to work out a few bugs, 3 AI cluster F***** at the center of a few maps then made a serious charge for my base. The Hard/Brutal side works great, I'll hopefully send you something to see if you like it soon.
Did you ever post up a story line for your mod? If not it might give people a chance to see what you are doing and maybe offer some tips. _________________ I am authorized to send out the TMP Studio, PM ME IF YOU WANT IT And check this out, these were sent to me for help with terrain and zdata help along with TMP Studio/Builder
