Vacation... it's a wonderful word for me. University was becoming too hard and I stoped doing news of the week in this year because of it. Since, I've gained this week, I will try to keep you informed of everything that is going on with C&C mods in this news .

-> Remember The Silence Release #1 is online!

Daz has released the first release of this mod! Remember The Silence happens in a distant planet of Hyralia, in the lands of Albage, a devastated country by the war they had against Hiale, that stopped in time. Albagia was peacefull until Britallia (a neighbor country) send some advanced forces to conquer Albagia. Britallia's forces were ages ahead of Albagia and they took almost the whole country except the western, until Albagia shows their true power. In the mod, you will be a general from Albagia that will replace the general Arcov. Remember the Silence will feature very high quality graphics from Daz, who is an already well known voxeler from C&C community. It's really worth to check it out:

Important News:

-> PC Gamer UK March/2004: Blitzkrieg 2 v026 and Cannis Rules 1.7 are featured in the march edition of PC Gamer from UK! Congratulations for both projects! Blitzkrieg was also mentioned in the dutch magazine PC Zone.


The Bad News:

-> RA2 Corrupt World and New Dawn are gone: Due to lack of interest on finishing his mod, Iceman559 has abandoned it. He tried to give it to someone else, but no one was interested on taking it. Shadowfx78 has also dropped his mod, New Dawn, since he lost interest on finishing it.

-> RA2: Massive Destruction is On Hold: DeeZel has stopped working on his mod until he finds someone who can aid him with graphics (aka infantry, voxels and buildings) which he is unable to do. If you are interested on helping him, please post at RA2:MD forum.


Random TS Mod News:

-> Redesigned Bots for TS: Reanimation: Hellfire is doing a good job on desiging the units from this mod with Anim8or. Some screenshots of the models he made are being showed at This Topic of SavageWar forums. It's worth to take a look . But it will be much better to see them in game .


Random RA2 Mod News:

-> CnC Memories has a new shp editor: Shadowfx78 is now aiding CnC Memories mod with SHP graphics.

-> CnC Reloaded is back online: The site is back online and its design changed a bit, for better. The mod is close to be released.

-> RA2: Broken Alliance's Mission List revealed: Lord Kal has posted the info of almost all missions that might be featured in RA2: Broken Alliance. Almost all, because he still doesnt brainstormed the last mission. You can see this whole info at This Topic in CnC Guild forums.

-> RA2: Exile's site disappeared: It seems that Origin-Network no longer hosts it or Detail didnt put it back since game-mod.net crashed O.o.

-> Revolution: Retaliation Of The Civilians loading screen revealed: BobbingAbout has posted the loading screen of R:ROTC. It looks pretty nice, but it's a 3mb file... prepare your modem . You can view it here.

-> [b]Sudden Strike will be released soon: Sydro has recently informed that Sudden Strike is almost finished. They are just waiting Andre to finish the AI file to release it.

-> Tiberian Alert is in need of staff: As Des08tor posted below, TA is in need of 3d modellers and SHPers who can make infantry.
